Okay sooo let’s talk about Urbanic. If you’ve ever been on Instagram or Pinterest or just scrolling random reels at 2am, you’ve definitely seen Urbanic dresses somewhere. Like those girls who wear flowy pastel dresses with clean vibes, perfect lighting and suddenly you’re like… “wait why don’t I look like that when I wear the same thing?”
Anyway, Urbanic is like that brand which suddenly popped up and now everyone’s buying from it. Some people call it the Shein 2.0, some say it’s better, some complain about sizing, and some people just love their aesthetic and don’t care about anything else. I’m kinda in between lol.

The prices are… okay-ish. Like not cheap cheap, but not Zara-expensive either. Somewhere in the middle where you feel guilty but also not THAT guilty.
Types of Urbanic Dresses (Too Many But Let’s Try)
So the thing is — Urbanic has EVERY type of dress. But here’s how I would group them based on vibes:
1. Bodycon Dresses – Insta Baddie Mode On
These are those tight-fit, ruched or cut-out kind of dresses that every influencer seems to wear. They look on the app, but sometimes in real life… umm not the same
Still, if you like fitted stuff and are confident (or just wanna fake it till you make it), go for it.
Just make sure you read the reviews first. Some bodycons look longer in pics but turn out like tank tops on tall girls
2. Satin Slip Dresses – Soft Girl Energy
Omg these are sooo pretty. Soft satin material, thin straps, flowy look. Looks good for dates, birthdays, or even just randomly wearing at home to feel fancy lol.
But again, some are too thin, so maybe wear shorts inside if you’re going out
Colors are usually pastel – sage green, lavender, baby pink. Aesthetic af.

These are the comfy, girly ones. Mid-length or maxi, puff sleeves, floral print — literally perfect for brunch or picnic (not that I go on picnics but still).
Urbanic floral dresses are usually cotton-poly mix, light fabric. Some even come with waist belts or tie-up backs. Cute but sometimes the neckline is deeper than it looks in photos, so watch for that if you’re not into deep necks.
4. Ribbed Dresses – Casual & Chill
These are like everyday dresses. You can wear them with sneakers, throw on a tote bag, and boom — ready to go out. Ribbed material is stretchy, so it’s forgiving even if you eat 2 burgers
My fav is a plain black ribbed midi from Urbanic — looks so basic but I’ve worn it like 10 times already.
5. Cut-Out & Asymmetrical Dresses – Trendy But Confusing?
These are very hit or miss. Like yeah, they look cool in pics, but sometimes you don’t even know how to wear them?? One sleeve, weird neckline, a random cut in the waist… idk man, fashion is weird sometimes.
But if styled well, they do look very high fashion. Just keep safety pins and double tape handy
Sizing – Umm… Help?
Okay so let’s talk about the thing everyone complains about: Urbanic sizing is WEIRD.
Like you’ll be an M in one dress and suddenly need XL in another one. Some dresses are tight in the chest, some are loose at the waist. It’s chaos.
ALWAYS check the size chart. Read reviews. Look at customer photos. If 10 people are saying “tight at hips”, believe them.
Also, Urbanic has a return policy but it’s a little slow sometimes. So just be sure before ordering, esp if you need it for an event.

It’s really a hit or miss brand. One time I got a black mesh dress and it felt like designer. Another time I ordered a satin top and it looked like a raincoat lol.
So again – reviews are your best friend.

Mostly teen girls, college students, young adults who like to dress trendy but don’t want to spend Zara money.
That said, some styles are totally wearable for 30+ also, especially the classic ones (florals, midis, shirt dresses).
